The next PWR LIO site visit and in-person meeting will be at the Lower Wapato Creek Habitat Restoration Project Site in Tacoma on Thursday, October 30 from 10-11:30am! There will also be an optional birding tour starting at 9am led by Glenn Johnson with the Pierce Conservation District for any birding enthusiasts! This site visit will include an optional birding walk, an overview of the project, insights into the cultural significance of the habitat site from the Puyallup Tribe, the role this project has played to benefit salmon enhancement, and a tour of the site. Due to anticipated muddy conditions, please wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
